The monthly report, assembled for you

The monthly report is built by exporting from several systems and pasting into a spreadsheet, and it is ready when the month it describes is long over. We connect the sources and assemble the report automatically, so the time goes into reading it.

Monthly overview

How you know you have this problem

  • Building the monthly report takes days of exporting and pasting

  • Figures in the report do not match the figures in the systems

  • Only one person knows how the spreadsheet works

  • Management asks a question and the answer takes a week

What we build

How it works once it is running

  1. 01

    Define the report

We write down each figure, where it comes from and how it is calculated, starting from the report you already use.

  2. 02

    Connect the sources

Accounting, CRM, ERP and spreadsheets are read on a schedule into one place, with checks that the totals agree.

  3. 03

    Assemble and explain

The report is generated in the layout you know. An AI step can draft a short commentary on what changed, clearly marked as a draft.

  4. 04

    Review and send

Finance reviews the report and the commentary, then it is sent or published to the people who read it.

What you get

  • A written definition of every figure
  • A report generated on schedule from the source systems
  • Checks that flag when sources disagree
  • An optional draft commentary for finance to edit

What we need from you

  • The current report and how it is put together

  • Access or exports from each source system

  • A person who can confirm the definitions

Tools we typically use
n8n, Google Sheets, Excel, Looker Studio, Odoo, your accounting software, Claude or GPT models

Questions about this use case

Is the AI commentary reliable?

It describes changes in the numbers it is given; it does not know why they changed. We treat it as a first draft that finance edits, and you can leave it out.

Do we need a data warehouse?

For most small companies, no. A well-structured spreadsheet or a small database is enough. We suggest more only when the volume or number of sources calls for it.

Can we keep our existing spreadsheet layout?

Yes. People trust the layout they know, so we fill that one first and improve it later if you want.

Show us one process. We will show you what it could look like.

The analysis is free, takes about an hour of your time, and ends with a written summary you keep.
